As developers of the Sheringham Shoal Offshore Wind Farm, Scira Offshore Energy has seen it as part of our role to encourage the involvement of local North Norfolk companies in both the construction and longer-term operation and maintenance of the wind farm. The project has aimed to create arenas that introduce contractors engaged by Scira to local suppliers. For example, Supplier Information Days, which also involved the key contractors, were held in both Sheringham and Wells-next-the-Sea and were well attended events, as well the project has produced a local Suppliers' Directory.The production of the Directory was coordinated by the North Norfolk Business Forum (NNBF) and Scira Offshore Energy is grateful to the NNBF team for its considerable effort.

this form.

In establishing its O&M base, Scira will require many local suppliers including: catering, security, receptionist, hotel/accommodation, taxi/transport, van drivers (between office, marine base and Quay), health professionals, electrical/engineering services, plus vessels and vessel maintenance. Opportunities will be advertised locally.
