New directors Board directors
(London, 13 June 2007) Scira Offshore Energy Limited, the joint venture company developing the 315MW Sheringham Shoal Offshore Wind Farm project off the coast of Norfolk, has announced the appointment of three new directors to its Board.
The three new directors are:
Anne S. Lycke, Vice President, Hydro Oil & Energy, Markets. Anne was until recently the Asset Manager Hydro Langeled Project responsible for overseeing the construction of the Langeled gas pipeline from Aukra in Norway to Easington in Yorkshire, which opened in October last year. Anne takes over as Chairman.
Knut Aanstad, Vice President, Business Development, New Energy, Hydro who has more than 25 years experience in the offshore oil and gas industry including stints in the UK and Indonesia.
Jaap Roos, Director Evelop International, Econcern, who has worked for 20 years in contracting and project realisation in the fields of renewable energy, information and communication technology and dredging in locations in western Europe, the Middle-East and south east Asia.
They join Director, Albert van der Hem of Evelop, on the Board and take over from:
- Pal Otto Eide and Ivar Hexeberg who will remain with Hydro’s aluminium business following the merger of its oil and energy business with Statoil, and
- David Edwards, Director of SLP Energy, which sold its shares in the project to Ecoventures BV earlier this year.
